Johanne Rose – Acupuncturist and Herbalist
My name is Johanne Rose and I am a California State licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist with certification in Nutrition.
I graduated from California Acupuncture College and studied in Beijing China for 3 months doing my advanced herbal training. I opened up my first clinic in 1986 in Agoura California then moved to a larger clinic in Westlake Village. I sold my practice to Dr. Hilda Maldonado and worked for her as her Acupuncturist for 10 years, I then retired for 5 years but realized I missed my work and came back. I have been practicing in Ventura at Permen Naturopathic since 2014.
I can be reached at 805-616-9973. I take insurances; United Health Care, Blue Shield, Blue Cross, American Specialty Health which includes Kaiser and Medicare. If you do not have these insurances call yours and check to see if they are a part of ASH as many of them are as of 2021.

I, too, am very grateful to ReGEN for the opportunity to offer my healing gifts to friends and new-friends-to-be.
I have lived in Fillmore for 44 years, in the same house, where we raised our 3 adopted children, who are now in their 40’s and beyond. When our grandson was born, I became deeply aware of the healing power in my hands and, if I am truthful, in the space around me. A Divine Presence moves through me, to you, as I massage your hands with essential oils and we chat about your life and what might be an issue with your well-being. Most of all, I can offer you a sense of Peace and Love.
Carrie Sherwood – Reiki
I enjoy creating a container for students to define their own meaning of yoga. My hope is to inspire students to look beyond the physical and to use the whole practice of yoga as a means to deepen the connection with one’s true self. Yoga Sutra 1.3 says “ Then the Seer (Self) abides in its own nature.” Ultimately yoga teaches us to go inward, and by creating an attitude of contentment, we are able to embrace all the parts of our self and harmonize with the world around us. We can be grateful for not just one thing, but everything.
My Training…never stops! I am forever a student. I received my 200-hour certification from the highly acclaimed YogaWorks Teacher Training program in 2013 and went on to earn my 500-hour certification in 2014. I became madly in love with Yoga and enrolled in the year-long program Urban Zen Integrated Therapy. Urban Zen was founded by Donna Karan, Rodney Yee, and Colleen Yee, to bring Yoga, Reiki, and essential oil therapies to hospitals around the country. There I ended up training nurses at UCLA to become Urban Zen Therapists and worked with patients bringing self-care to healthcare. My biggest takeaway from the Urban Zen program was the healing power of Reiki. I noticed that every single patient I worked with received some type of healing. At the same time, I was working at La Ventana an eating disorder rehabilitation center where I had the exact same experience. Patients were reporting fewer stomach pains, less anxiety, better sleep and so many other wonderful benefits.
I thought to myself “Why doesn’t everyone know about Reiki?” I knew Reiki was a healing modality I needed to share with the world!!! If you would like to experience the healing benefits of Reiki please contact me at email@example.com
